Action taken against machinery theft across Cambridgeshire

Dear Resident,

Our Rural Crime Action Team have been out engaging with farmers across Cambridgeshire, delivering these stickers to put on their vehicles and machinery.

This is just a small part of our work to tackle machinery theft and associated criminal activity.

If you own any machinery, you can help protect it by:

🚜 Securing your property by using trackers, alarms, or an immobiliser

🚜 Removing any keys whilst the machinery is unattended

🚜 Mark your property to make it identifiable if it is ever recovered

Stolen machinery can often be a pre-cursor to criminality such as ATM ram raids.

We urge everyone to stay vigilant, and report any suspicious behaviour to us on 999 or online.
